Drop-Off Playground
& WorkCafe in Lisbon

🏰 SandCastle is a cozy indoor family space in central Lisbon for young children and their parents. Children can play in our creative playground under supervision, while parents stay nearby, enjoy coffee in the café or work in a separate room. For children aged 4+, we offer drop-off care. For visits, you can pay by the hour, choose a Daily Pass, use packages of hours or get a monthly unlimited pass. No reservation is needed for regular playtime. We also host birthdays, workshops and family events.

🛝 Space

Our play area is designed for calm, creative play. Children can explore the sensory sandbox, role-play corners, slides and soft climbing zones, while developing imagination, movement and confidence through play. We use thoughtful setups and eco-friendly toys instead of noisy attractions. Kids play under gentle supervision and often leave with something they made themselves.

☕️ Cafe

At SandCastle, our café is made for parents who want more than just a quick coffee. We serve specialty coffee, V60, matcha, herbal teas, fresh desserts and light brunch options, with plenty of vegan choices.

You’ll find raw vegan sweets, sugar-free treats, bowls, crêpes, syrniki, tofu syrniki, ice cream and affogato with espresso or matcha. It’s a comfortable place to meet a friend, take a break or get some work done while the kids play nearby under supervision.

🥳 Celebrations

A birthday that feels easy for both kids and parents.

SandCastle works especially well for younger children, around 2 to 5 years old. They can play freely in a space made for their age, with gentle supervision from our team, while parents have time to talk, eat and enjoy the celebration too.

You can use a private room for the birthday table, cake and snacks, and the garden terrace is also available. It works well for relaxed family gatherings and can be BBQ-friendly by arrangement.

🧑🏼‍💻 Coworking

A quiet space for parents who need to work, even with little ones around.

Our coworking room has strong Wi-Fi, good coffee and live cameras showing the playroom, so you can focus while staying close to your child.

It’s a useful option for remote-working parents, families spending time in Lisbon, or parents whose children are not in school yet.

🎨 Workshops

Our creative workshops are playful, hands-on sessions led by designers and artists.

Children explore real materials, follow a small story, make their own choices and often leave with something they created themselves.

We also offer group classes for children, including singing, art classes and ceramic clay modelling. Creative activities can also be added to birthday celebrations on request.
